Employment pass (“EP”) application and renewal
EP is issued to professionals, managerial personnel, executives or specialists who wishes to work in Singapore. The employer needs to apply on behalf of the candidate. The candidate must earn at least $3,300 ($3,600 with effect from 1 January 2017) to qualify (more experienced candidates need higher salaries).

Entrepreneur pass (“EntrePass”) application
EntrePass is designed for entrepreneurs who have (or intent to start) a private limited company in Singapore. There is no stipulated minimum salary for EntrePass and has a validity of 1 year. Your proposed business needs to meet certain requirements for you to be eligible for an EntrePass. These may include funding from an accredited source, intellectual property, research collaboration or being an incubatee.
Personalised Employment Pass (“PEP”) application
PEP is a special type of Employment Pass issued to top-tier individuals based on their merits. The PEP is independent of any employer; hence its holder can switch employers without affecting the status of the pass. PEP is targeted for highly qualified individuals who wish to work or live in Singapore.
Dependant’s pass (“DP”) application and renewal
Eligible work visa holders are entitled to bring immediate family member to live in Singapore on a Dependent Pass. To qualify, the sponsoring work visa holder must earn a minimum fixed salary of $5,000. The status of the DP is connected to the validity of the Singapore work visa.
Letter of Consent (LOC) application
A person holding a DP or Long Term Visit Pass (“LTVP”) can apply for a LOC from the MOM to work in Singapore. To be eligible, the applicant need to be one of the following:
- An LTVP or LTVP+ holder who is married to a Singaporean or permanent resident.
- A DP’s Pass holder who is a dependant of an Employment Pass, EntrePass or PEP holder.
- Have secured a job offer with a Singapore employer
Note: If you are a dependant of an S Pass holder, you should apply for a Work Permit, S Pass or Employment Pass instead.
Permanent Residence (“PR”) application
Non Singaporeans can become a Singapore Permanent Resident (“SPR”) by obtaining an Entry Permit. This is an application for SPR. The following categories of foreigners are eligible to submit application for SPR:
- Spouse and unmarried children (below 21 years old) of a Singapore Citizen (SC)/Permanent Resident (SPR);
- Aged parents of a Singapore Citizen;
- P, Q or S work pass holders working in Singapore;
- Investors/Entrepreneurs
